Our oil seals are used in an extensive range of applications such as bearings, electric motors, gear reducers and a variety of pumps. These oil seals are available in several materials including Nitrile (NBR), Fluorocarbon (Viton®) and PTFE (Teflon®) to name a few. We offer oil seals in both standard and metric sizes.
Colonial Seal Company has full cross-reference capabilities for most major rotary shaft seal manufacturers such as SKF, Chicago Rawhide, Garlock, National, Timken and Federal Mogul. We specialize in replacements for obsolete or discontinued rotary shaft seals. We also supply oil seals in accordance with Mil-Spec Drawings 00044 for "Seal, Plain" and "Seal, Plain Encased". Through our qualified network of global sourcing partners, we offer cost-effective alternatives to brand name seals and typically provide our customers a 10% - 20% cost savings.
